Great to meet you!

’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a foundation in neuroscience from The Ohio State University and a master’s in International Disaster Psychology. My academic and professional journey has shaped how I understand the complex relationship between the brain, trauma, and human resilience.

I work primarily with teens and young adults navigating issues related to self-esteem, trauma, identity development, and neurodivergence. I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to make meaning of their experiences in ways that honor their strengths and stories.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in curiosity. I primarily use Gestalt and Narrative Therapy, both of which encourage clients to explore the present moment and rewrite unhelpful or inherited narratives. These approaches allow for deeper insight into how past experiences may be impacting current patterns and relationships.

I also integrate Person-Centered Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients in building self-awareness, increasing emotional flexibility, and aligning their lives with their values. Above all, I believe that therapy should be a space where clients feel safe to be fully themselves—where healing happens through connection, presence, and authenticity.

What you can expect from me

Clients often leave sessions with a greater sense of clarity, self-understanding, and emotional validation. Whether we're unpacking a difficult experience, challenging an old belief, or building new coping skills, my goal is to help you feel more grounded in who you are and what matters to you.

You can expect to walk away with practical tools for managing distress, a deeper awareness of your own patterns, and a stronger connection to your values. Over time, many clients report feeling more confident in their choices, more accepting of themselves, and more able to navigate life’s complexities with resilience and self-compassion.
