Great to meet you!

My approach to behavioral health issues is to empower an individual to express their feelings around issues in their life that are causing stress, anxiety, concern, anger, confusion or uncertainty in their functioning with others and in their everyday life. I support finding avenues of coping with challenges one might otherwise find compromising and disabling. Through active, compassionate and thoughtful listening, advice, suggestions and guidance, an individual is best equipped to discover solutions that afford finding stability, peace of mind, and success in relationships, work, one's life responsibilities and daily activities.

My approach to therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other approaches can best address emotional challenges when individuals seeking support work collaboratively with a counselor. Discussing how to cope with issues in relationships, work, one's life responsibilities and daily activities can offer relief. Validating strengths and resources can be beneficial.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity to discuss what has worked with addressing areas of concern. It is time to be heard in a patient and trusting manner. It can be supportive experience to better understanding the forces that impact on one's life. In time, one can find encouraging ways to more effectively cope and find solutions to stressors and conflicts.
