Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker, licensed in both NY and CT, with years of experience in agency, special education, and private practice settings. I provide psychotherapy to adolescents and their families, young adults, and adults, that struggle with anxiety, depression, stress management, attachment issues, and life transitions, to name a few.

My approach to therapy

My approach utilizes the identified strengths my clients and I discover together during the therapeutic process. I incorporate the client's past experiences and relationships, trusting them to be the experts in their own lives. This garners a strong partnership from which to begin the exploration process. I work collaboratively with my clients, tackling obstacles, both internal and external, concrete and unconscious, on the path to fulfillment and discovering their true, authentic selves.

What you can expect from me

While, ultimately, our goal is to improve function and increase satisfaction in daily activities, experiencing a more fulfilling and acceptance-based life, our first sessions will be devoted to rapport building, gathering information, setting goals, and determining treatment directions. An initial 15-minute phone consultation is available upon request.
