Great to meet you!
With more than 23 years of experience as a licensed professional counselor, I've had the privilege of working with clients in private practice, high schools, college counseling centers, and community mental health settings. Throughout my career, I've supported people through many of life's most challenging experiences, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship concerns, burnout, identity development, and the everyday stress that can make it difficult to move forward.
I work with adolescents, college students, adults, and older adults, and I believe therapy should be tailored to the individual rather than based on a one-size-fits-all approach. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Together, we'll identify your strengths, develop practical strategies, and create goals that fit your unique needs and circumstances.
In addition to general mental health counseling, I also work with students and athletes who are experiencing performance anxiety, confidence issues, mental blocks, or the pressures associated with academics and competition. This is one of several specialty areas within my practice, and I enjoy helping clients develop the mental skills needed to perform with greater confidence while maintaining balance in their lives.
Whether you're seeking support for a specific challenge or looking to better understand yourself and improve your overall well-being, I strive to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship where you feel respected, supported, and equipped with tools that promote lasting growth and resilience.
