Great to meet you!

Reaching out for support takes courage, and my goal is to provide a safe, welcoming space where you feel comfortable, heard, and respected. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 23 years of experience, I've worked with adolescents, college students, adults, and older adults in private practice, middle and high schools, colleges, and community settings. These experiences have allowed me to help individuals from diverse backgrounds navigate life's challenges with compassion and practical support.

I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, stress management, grief and loss, and sports and academic performance. Whether you're struggling with overwhelming emotions, coping with a significant life change, balancing school or work demands, or looking to improve your confidence and performance, I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a collaborative process. Together, we'll identify your strengths, develop meaningful and achievable goals, and create practical strategies that promote lasting growth and resilience. My approach is warm, supportive, and solution-focused, combining evidence-based techniques with genuine compassion to help you build confidence, overcome obstacles, and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other in a relaxed, comfortable, and judgment-free environment. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to achieve. I'll also ask questions about your personal history, relationships, and any other areas that may help me better understand your experiences.

This session is not about having all the answers or sharing everything at once. We move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My role is to listen, provide support, and begin developing a treatment plan that reflects your goals, strengths, and individual needs.

By the end of our first session, you'll have a better understanding of my approach to therapy, and together we'll identify meaningful goals and discuss the next steps. My goal is that you leave feeling heard, supported, and optimistic about the work we'll do together.
