Great to meet you!

"All manner of things shall be well." This is a quote I strive to live by and a belief I bring forward in my practice. I understand that things are difficult, but I do believe that there are always resolutions to the difficulties of life. We just need to search for and find them.

I graduated with my Master's in Social Work in 2010; however, I have worked in multiple areas of Social Work over the last 20 years. Therapy is my passion and I love what I do.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is unique to every person I work with, except for one major factor. I meet you where you are. I understand that therapy is not always a "straight line" of progress. There's hills, valleys and the occasional U-turn.

I do not and will not judge you if you slip; I'll extend that hand to help bring you back forward. I will gently and patiently challenge you, for change is not easy.

I will always respect the privilege of you being in the driver's seat of counseling.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be about you. You will have the opportunity to tell me your story. You will have a person who will not just listen to you, but who will HEAR you.

If you've had positive or negative past experiences in therapy, please let me know. I want to hear what has worked or has not worked for you so I can create a safe environment for you.

I believe this: You are the expert in your story. I want you to be able to trust and correct me if I make a mistake. Like you, I am only human.
