Great to meet you!

I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over a wealth of experience in mental health and substance use disorder treatment. I have worked in the mental health field in variety of roles for more than 20 years. My background includes work in recreation therapy, dual diagnosis treatment, and psychiatric nursing.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Each persons experience is individual, and what works best for one person is not always right for another.

I prefer to work along with my clients, helping them find the best path to mental health wellness, and solutions to the problems and challenges they encounter- whether that includes medications or not.

What you can expect from our first session

I strive to have every client leave their session with a better understanding of their mental health needs and a clear plan for how they will get there. If medications are appropriate, then I endeavor to have clients a solid understanding of why specific medications were chosen and the benefits they should expect from taking them.
