Great to meet you!

I am a mental health professional who provides a supportive, honest, and non-judgmental space for clients to explore challenges and work toward meaningful change. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT); to name a few.

I have a forensic background, including experience with divorce-related matters, forensic interviews, child protective services, school advocacy. This experience informs a structured, objective, and trauma-informed approach to care. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and life transitions, and focus on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and supporting meaningful change at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

My approach to therapy

My work with clients is collaborative, structured, and grounded in respect. I provide a safe, honest, and non-judgmental space where clients can speak openly and feel understood. I take a practical, goal-oriented approach, helping clients identify patterns, develop effective coping skills, and make meaningful changes at a pace that feels manageable.

I specialize in trauma-informed care using evidence-based approaches, including CBT and TF-CBT. My background in forensic work, law enforcment, divorce-related issues, child services, forensic interviews, and school advocacy allows me to support clients navigating complex systems, high-conflict situations, and stress related to family or legal involvement. Throughout the process, I focus on empowerment, clarity, and building resilience while meeting clients where they are.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a supportive, calm, and non-judgmental environment. We will focus on understanding what brings you to therapy, the symptoms you are experiencing, and how those symptoms are impacting your daily life. Rather than focusing on labels or diagnoses, my approach prioritizes addressing current concerns and identifying what will help you feel better and function more effectively.

Together, we will begin setting goals based on your needs and experiences, and discuss practical next steps for treatment. The first session is also a time to ask questions and get a sense of whether this feels like a good fit. My goal is for clients to leave feeling heard, respected, and with greater clarity about how therapy can support them.
