Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed clinical social worker who works with men navigating anxiety, depression, life discomfort and the pressure to have everything handled on their own — including anxiety shaped by "man up" or "machismo" conditioning. Many of my clients grew up believing that struggling quietly was the only acceptable option. I also work with OCD, trauma, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and sexuality-related concerns, including compulsive sexual behavior and pornography use. I offer sessions in English and Spanish, entirely by telehealth, serving clients throughout Arizona. My style is direct and grounded — I'm not interested in performative empathy, and I don't think you are either.

My approach to therapy

I draw primarily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — practical, structured approaches that help you understand what's driving your struggle and build a different relationship with it, rather than just managing symptoms. Across the board, I aim for sessions that feel collaborative and useful — clear language, real tools, and honest conversation, without unnecessary jargon or hand-holding.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly about orientation — I want to understand what brought you in, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping is different six months from now. We'll talk through your history at whatever depth feels right for a first conversation, and I'll ask direct questions rather than leaving long silences for you to fill. By the end, you should have a clear sense of how I work and what the next few sessions will look like — there's no pressure to have it all figured out on day one.
