Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned a bachelor's degree from Illinois State University and a master's degree in social work from Howard University. I have been practicing professional social work for more than three (3) decades. I work with adults from diverse backgrounds. My focus is on helping clients struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, work related issues, and other challenges.

My approach to therapy

While I utilize an eclectic approach in which I may draw from a range of treatment approached (e.g., solution-oriented focus, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered approach, and Gestalt Therapy from time to time, I often rely on a Cognitive Behavior Therapy treatment approach and variations of this approach to help clients.

What you can expect from me

I really like to create an environment that is warm and safe where you can pursue and achieve great clinical outcomes or your unique treatment goals. The primary goal would be to help you gain relief from symptoms, maintain or improve your quality of life.
