Great to meet you!

My name is Willie Palmer, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have been in the counseling field for more than 20 years, and have vast experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples. I entered this field to help individuals and families get past obstacles to enjoying life to the fullest. I have maintained a great success rate with helping clients learn how to navigate issues by teaching effective tools to achieve treatment goals.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe in listening to the client to accurately assess needs, and to determine effective strategies to problem solving. I am also able to assess the need for further referrals such as medication evaluations or more specialized treatment. I use an eclectic approach to therapy by borrowing from a number of proven theoretic approaches including but not limited to CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Family Systems Approaches.
