Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you've been carrying everything on your own. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, anger, relationship challenges, men's issues, or the effects of trauma, I'm here to provide a space where you can feel heard without judgment. I work with children, adolescents, and adults who may be struggling with substance use, addiction, family conflict, grief and loss, identity concerns, life transitions, stress management, or PTSD. My goal is to meet you where you are, understand your unique experiences, and help you uncover the strengths you already possess. I believe meaningful change happens through collaboration, honesty, and trust, and I'm committed to creating an environment where you feel supported as you work toward greater clarity, confidence, and emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is participatory, open-minded, and solution-oriented because I believe therapy should be an active partnership rather than a one-sided conversation. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gestalt therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to tailor treatment to your individual needs, goals, and experiences. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck while developing practical strategies to help you move forward with confidence. Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family concerns, trauma, stress, or major life changes, I strive to create a therapeutic experience that is both compassionate and empowering. Therapy isn't about having all the answers—it's about discovering what works best for you and building lasting skills that support growth well beyond our sessions.

What you can expect from me

When we begin working together, you can expect a welcoming, respectful space where you can speak openly and honestly at your own pace. My role is to listen carefully, challenge you when appropriate, and support you as we work toward meaningful progress together. We'll celebrate your successes, navigate setbacks with curiosity rather than judgment, and adjust our approach as your needs evolve. Whether you're seeking relief from current challenges or hoping to build healthier patterns for the future, my goal is to help you leave each session feeling heard, supported, and equipped with tools you can apply in your everyday life.
