Great to meet you!
Hi, I'm glad you're here! I am a Haitian American clinician, born and raised in Miami, Florida, with a deep appreciation for culture, community, and faith. As a Christian and a licensed clinical social worker, I strive to create a therapeutic space that is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and grounded in both evidence-based practice and respect for each person’s values and lived experience.
I earned my master’s in social work from Florida Atlantic University and have dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, and life transitions. My primary treatment approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so they can develop healthier patterns and practical tools for daily life.
I am also currently in the process of becoming trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an approach that can be particularly helpful for those who have experienced trauma or distressing life events. My goal is to integrate EMDR into my work to offer clients additional pathways toward healing, emotional regulation, and a stronger sense of self.
As a therapist, I understand the importance of identity, intergenerational dynamics, and cultural nuance in the healing process. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and beliefs and am especially passionate supporting those who may be navigating the intersection of culture, faith, and mental health. In our work together, you can expect warmth, honesty, collaboration, and a focus on practical change that aligns with your goals and values.
