Great to meet you!

I am a NY licensed social worker and received my education in Boston. My family emphasis on hard work helped me focus and develop a cultural perspective & approach. People have various influences such as multiple cultures, different upbringings, or beliefs about individual versus social expectations. It is very helpful & important to have a person who speaks & understands one's culture & language for our everyday conflicts, struggles, or stresses within work, family, education, & community).

My approach to therapy

We work together through talking and sharing perspectives to determine the best treatment approaches for you and your goals and/or needs. In general, I use a person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy approach with adults. For children and teens, I use a combination of play, as well as talk therapy. Behavioral approaches may be discussed as well.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect an environment that is warm, welcoming, friendly, and professional. We will share perspectives and work together to find the right balance and/or resolution to your goals and/or needs.
