Great to meet you!

I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (DNP, PMHNP-BC). I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy to adults from diverse backgrounds. My treatment areas include anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, trauma-related conditions, mood disorders, grief, sleep difficulties, and major life transitions. I recognize that seeking help can feel vulnerable, so I strive to create a welcoming, culturally sensitive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your care.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based. I take time to understand your symptoms, experiences, strengths, and treatment goals rather than focusing only on a diagnosis. Together, we will develop an individualized plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, practical coping strategies, and lifestyle recommendations. I will clearly explain treatment options, potential benefits, and side effects so you can make informed decisions. We will regularly monitor your progress and adjust the plan as your needs change.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we will discuss your current concerns, symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, medications, lifestyle, relationships, and treatment goals. I will listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to share at your own pace. We will review possible diagnoses and treatment options, including their benefits and potential risks. Before the session ends, we will create a personalized plan and discuss the next steps for your care.
