Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience, I specialize in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate academic, behavioral, emotional, and life challenges while working through depression, anxiety, and poor stress management. My school-based experience has allowed me to work with children and families from diverse backgrounds, and I believe in providing culturally responsive, compassionate care that is tailored to each client's unique needs.

As a parent myself, I understand how stressful it can be when your child is struggling. Whether you're concerned about anxiety, behavior changes, school difficulties, emotional regulation, self-esteem, or major life transitions, you don't have to navigate it alone. My goal is to help children and families feel supported while building practical skills that create lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I use a solution-focused, strengths-based approach that helps clients recognize their abilities while developing healthy coping skills and more effective ways of managing life's challenges. Together, we'll identify meaningful goals, challenge unhelpful thought and behavior patterns, and celebrate progress along the way.

Building trust is an essential part of therapy, especially with children and teens. I take time to create a safe, welcoming environment where they feel comfortable expressing themselves at their own pace. While I encourage independence during sessions, I also believe parents and caregivers are valuable partners in the therapeutic process. I provide ongoing support and collaboration so families feel informed and empowered while respecting each child's need for a space where they can openly share.

What you can expect from me

Our first sessions will focus on getting to know one another, understanding your concerns, and developing goals that fit your family's needs. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I want every client and family to leave each session with tools they can use in everyday life, greater confidence in their strengths, and hope for continued growth.

I believe therapy should feel supportive, relatable, and empowering. Whether your child is facing school-related stress, anxiety, behavioral challenges, or difficulty adjusting to life's changes, I look forward to partnering with your family to help them thrive
