Great to meet you!

I'm Wynne, and I help adults and teens navigate areas like self-esteem, body image concerns, anxiety, relationships, emotional regulation, identity development, and life's messy transitions with compassion, honesty, and the occasional laugh when we need one.

I’ve had the privilege of working in both private practice and higher levels of care, including Rogers Behavioral Health and the Renfrew Center, supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional and life experiences.

I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University, a Master’s in Human Development from Vanderbilt University, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Georgetown University.

My background as a former college athlete also shapes how I understand pressure, identity, and self-expectation—especially in young adulthood.

More than anything, I want therapy to feel like a place where you can slow down, make sense of things, and start to feel a bit steadier in yourself.

My approach to therapy

I work with adults and teens in the often messy, in-between parts of life—when things are changing, expectations feel high, and it’s not always clear how to feel like yourself in the middle of it all.

In therapy, I focus on helping you slow things down and make sense of what you’re carrying internally. This often includes patterns of overthinking, self-doubt, difficulty trusting yourself, or navigating relationships in a way that feels overwhelming or confusing. Over time, the work is about helping you feel more steady and secure in who you are, so those internal patterns don’t feel as consuming or defining. My approach is collaborative and grounded, blending mindfulness, ACT, DBT, and experiential work to help you build a different relationship with your thoughts and emotions—not just manage them.

Therapy isn't about fixing you; it's about helping you understand yourself better, build confidence in who you are, and create a life that feels more authentic and less exhausting.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is designed to feel comfortable, welcoming, and low-pressure. Rather than feeling like a formal interview, it's more of a conversation where we begin getting to know each other and building a genuine connection. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, what you're hoping to get out of it, and any important background that can help me understand your needs.

I'll ask some questions along the way, but there's also plenty of room for laughter, real conversation, and simply being yourself. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported from the very beginning. Therapy works best when there's a strong relationship and trust, and our first session is the start of building that together.
