Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Xanic (pronounced sha-neek). I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, families, and women, and I specialize in treating trauma across the lifespan, as well as mood disorders and suicidality.

I’ve managed an intensive psychiatric program for families within a nonprofit setting and facilitated creative, empowering groups for children, teens, and women. At the core of my work, though, is individual therapy—where I’ve had the privilege of helping clients build the tools they need, reconnect with themselves and others, and create more fulfilling, meaningful lives. I hope to also work with you and support you in achieving your goals!

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is focused on truly getting to know you—your experiences, your relationships, and all the parts that make you who you are. I balance genuine compassion, humor, and communication that is both gentle and direct to help you feel understood while also supporting meaningful growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, the focus is on getting to know you—what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’re hoping to gain from meeting regularly. We’ll also go over any questions you have and talk about your goals. Most importantly, this session is an opportunity for you to get a feel for me and decide if I’m the right fit for you.
