Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois and Texas. I’ve been in practice for 15+ years and love working with children, adolescents and adults who are coping with life due to trauma, depression, anxiety or any other life changing situation. In my personal time, I enjoy hiking, spending time with my husband, son, and our rescued dog. I am bicultural and bilingual in Spanish.

My approach to therapy

I have a deep interest in working with adults and children 7+. I treat anxiety, depression, trauma (physical/sexual, emotional and/or medical), behavioral issues, grief, stress, the effects of divorce/separation, school related issues, family conflicts, domestic violence and life transitions. I help build coping strategies, self esteem, social competence and resilience.

What you can expect from me

I am passionate about treating the whole person with respect and honor. This means being empathetic, compassionate, encouraging, validating and accepting of each individual I come in contact with.

I believe it takes a great amount of courage to seek therapy so I strive to create a safe space for my clients to assist in the processes of empowerment, healing and growth.
