Great to meet you!

I’m a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I’ve been a nurse for over 20 years, working in a variety of roles and settings—including hospitals, community health, and outpatient care. That experience has taught me a lot about how every person’s journey is unique, and it’s important to meet people where they are.

I’m someone who’s very goal-oriented and responsible—I like to help people create clear steps toward feeling better—but I also keep an open mind and a nonjudgmental attitude. My priority is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected. We’ll work together as a team to understand what’s going on and find ways to support your mental health in a way that feels right for you."

My approach to therapy

When I work with clients, my approach is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each person’s needs. I believe that mental health care works best when we work together—you're the expert on your life, and I bring clinical knowledge to help guide the process. My style is calm, open-minded, and nonjudgmental, and I focus on creating a space where you feel safe to talk about whatever’s going on.

I’m very goal-oriented, so I’ll often help you set clear, achievable steps if that’s something you're open to—but I’m also flexible. I meet people where they are and adjust the pace based on your comfort.

Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of individuals across different settings, and I have particular experience with anxiety, depression, stress-related concerns, and life transitions. I also understand how physical health and mental health are deeply connected, and I try to take a holistic view of care. Whether we’re talking about medication, therapy strategies, or just daily coping tools, my goal is to support your overall well-being."

What you can expect from me

"When I work with clients, I focus on creating a supportive, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and safe to be yourself. I know that opening up can be hard, so I prioritize building trust and meeting you where you are—no pressure, no expectations, just honest support.

My style is warm, open-minded, and goal-oriented. I believe in helping clients identify what’s most important to them—whether it’s reducing anxiety, improving mood, building healthier relationships, or simply finding more balance and peace in day-to-day life. Together, we set clear, realistic goals that feel meaningful to you, and we work step by step toward those outcomes.

Some common goals I support clients with include managing stress more effectively, improving sleep, reducing emotional overwhelm, building confidence and self-worth, or navigating major life transitions. I also often help clients explore how their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions are connected—and we work on tools and strategies that foster healthier patterns over time.

Whether we’re discussing medication options, therapy techniques, or simple coping strategies, my aim is to empower you with choices, education, and encouragement. Your voice matters in every step of the process."
