Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Yadira, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor. I graduated from the University of Holy Cross and am a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, including co-occurring substance use concerns.

In addition to my clinical work, I have a background in program development and leadership, which helps me take a structured, goal-oriented approach to treatment. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need a space to process, I’m here to support you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each person. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT to help clients understand patterns, build coping skills, and make meaningful changes.

I focus on creating a space where you feel heard and supported, while also gently challenging you to grow. Whether you’re working through anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you and focus on real, sustainable progress.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a relaxed, supportive space where we get to know each other. I’ll ask questions to understand what’s bringing you in, your background, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy.

We’ll also start identifying goals and what progress might look like for you. There’s no pressure to share everything at once, we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of next steps.
