Yael Eisenberg

I am a dually certified Nurse Practitioner in both Pediatrics and Psychiatry, allowing me to provide comprehensive care that addresses both the medical and mental health needs of my patients. I earned my Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree from New York University and my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from Molloy University. I specialize in working with children and adolescents with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and learning disabilities, providing thoughtful and developmentally informed care. I also enjoy working with young adults, particularly those navigating ADHD and anxiety, helping them build effective strategies for long-term success and well-being.

My approach to providing care is grounded in being open-minded and truly listening to each patient’s concerns. When working with children, I strongly value collaboration with both parents and schools to ensure that support is consistent across all environments. With young adults, I focus on carefully listening and taking the time to understand their perspectives and experiences. My goal is to create a supportive space where patients feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their care.

During the first session, I aim to create a warm and welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns. The visit includes gathering a thorough psychiatric history while allowing patients to guide the conversation so their priorities and experiences are fully heard. I take time to listen carefully and ensure that each individual feels understood. At the end of the session, we will discuss whether medication is appropriate and review the potential risks and benefits of any recommended treatment options together.
