I graduated with my Masters of Science degree with a major in Clinical Psychology from Barry University. My practical training began at Family Counseling Services of Greater Miami. I have also gained invaluable crisis care and intervention experience working with adults and adolescents at a Crisis Services Unit. My work at a private psychosocial rehabilitation organization allowed me to gain additional proficiency working with adolescents and adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
I work with individuals who struggle with adjustment and/or life transitions, depression, anxiety, and chronic/severe mental illness. My practice has an emphasis on adolescents and young adults. I use a combination of therapeutic techniques to help my clients achieve their goals - Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I offer a relaxed space where clients feel safe to talk and discover solutions to their needs. I believe in creating a collaborative and non-judgmental relationship that can help clients achieve long lasting changes in their personal life, relationships, and overall well-being.
