Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Yama, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of clinical and administrative experience spanning adult-gerontology, post-acute nursing, and advanced psychiatric care. My background is deeply interdisciplinary, which means I bring a broad, well-rounded perspective to every person I work with.

My approach to therapy

I believe that true healing goes beyond managing symptoms, it means caring for the whole person, including their emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. I take the time to really listen, because I know that feeling genuinely heard is often the first step toward feeling better. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable enough to be honest with me, so together we can identify what's getting in the way and build a path forward that actually fits your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first sessions are really about getting to know each other, there's no pressure to have everything figured out before you walk in. I'll ask questions, listen carefully, and work with you to understand what you're experiencing and what kind of support feels right. From there, we'll develop a plan together that may include medication management, therapeutic support, or both, always guided by what's most meaningful and effective for you.

If you're ready to take that first step, I'd love to connect. Reach out today to schedule your appointment — you don't have to navigate this alone.
