Great to meet you!

My journey into counseling began following several personal experiences that deepened my curiosity about human resiliency. The desire to help others find inner strength when facing life’s unimaginable challenges became my life’s purpose.

Following the loss of my daughter Khloe Grace in 2020, I had to incorporate much of my professional skills into my personal life. It was then, that I began to recognize that loss cannot be overcome but carried.

Personal tragedy helped deepen my understanding of human resilience and the importance of connection.

As a Counselor, my clinical approach is eclectic. My goal is to tailor interventions to the unique needs of my clients while practicing humility and embracing diversity.

I’m trained in a wide range of evidenced-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, ACT, and Mindfulness Practices.

My specializations include Child Loss, Grief, Anxiety, Depression, Marriage and Family Therapy, Emotional Support Animals, and Sleep.

Services Limitations:

Due to non-competing practices and conflict of interest, I am unable to provide services to any patient who is a current student at the University of South Carolina. I can however, provide services to patients who have graduated or officially withdrawn from USC.

My approach to therapy

I use an eclectic collaborative strength-based approach to help clients meet their treatment goals.

What you can expect from me

I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.

I invite you to schedule your appointment today!
