Great to meet you!

My passion for helping people is rooted in the belief that all individuals are worthy of a healthy, positive, functional life experience. Life isn’t always easy and curveballs are expected. However, we can learn how to maneuver those hits that life throws at us so that we grow from being victims to becoming survivors. I have had the honor of working with clients from all walks of life and it is always amazing to see the growth, no matter how big or small, in each and every one.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I approach therapy like any other social relationship. We first start off building a foundation of trust. During the first session, I get to learn what has brought you into therapy, and you will determine if I am able to assist you. Depending on the severity of what has brought you into therapy, it can be short-term or long-term. I do actively advocate to my clients to be an active participant and if something is not working, I am open to changes in therapy style and/or therapy modalities.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect a mutual working relationship. The environment created is one of active participation and support. I encourage my clients to empower themselves with the knowledge and tools to be the very best versions of themselves they seek.
