Great to meet you!

I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered care. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental—I strive to create a safe space where you feel heard, respected, and supported throughout your mental health journey. I have training and experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of mental health conditions across the lifespan. My background includes working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma-related concerns, and behavioral challenges. I integrate evidence-based practices with a holistic perspective, considering not only symptoms but also lifestyle, environment, and overall well-being. I believe that treatment is most effective when it is personalized. I work closely with my clients to develop individualized care plans, which may include medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive strategies to improve daily functioning and quality of life. My goal is to empower you with the tools and knowledge needed to feel more in control and confident in your mental health. I value open communication and encourage questions, collaboration, and active participation in your care. Whether you are seeking support for the first time or continuing your mental health journey, I am here to help guide and support you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe that every client’s experience is unique, so I take time to listen, understand your concerns, and work with you to create a treatment plan that aligns with your goals and lifestyle. I use an evidence-based approach that combines comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management when appropriate, and psychoeducation to help you better understand your symptoms and treatment options. I also take a holistic view of care, considering factors such as sleep, stress, environment, relationships, and daily functioning.

What you can expect from me

I expect a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where we focus on getting to know you and understanding your concerns. I will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, which includes discussing your current symptoms, medical and mental health history, lifestyle factors, and any goals you have for treatment. This initial visit is a collaborative process. I encourage you to ask questions and share openly so we can build a clear picture of your needs. Together, we will begin to identify priorities and develop an initial treatment plan that may include medication options (if appropriate), education about your condition, and strategies to support your day-to-day functioning. My goal for the first session is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and more informed about your mental health, with a clear sense of next steps. I strive to create a calm, respectful space where you feel comfortable and supported as we begin working together.
