Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Yamina. I believe healing starts with feeling truly seen, and that's the relationship I work to build with every client who sits with me. I'm a bilingual (English and Spanish) and bicultural therapist with 25 years in clinical practice, working with children, adolescents, families, and adults through life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges. Wherever you're starting from, I'd be glad to walk that next step with you.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, I'll draw on approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and strengths-based strategies, always adapted to fit you rather than the other way around. My goal isn't just symptom relief, it's helping you build real resilience you can carry with you long after our sessions end. You bring the story, I'll bring the tools, and we'll figure out what healing looks like for you together.

What you can expect from me

When we begin working together, you can expect a space that is warm, culturally sensitive, and free of judgment. I'll take time to understand your story and what brought you here, and we'll build a plan grounded in evidence based tools like CBT and trauma-informed care, always tailored to you. My goal is for you to leave every session feeling a little more understood, and a little more equipped to move forward.
