Great to meet you!

I am a clinical social worker and researcher interested in helping individuals navigate life transitions, work-life balance and workplace stress. I maintain a small and focused practice with availability exclusively during evenings and weekends. I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) and Master of Public Health (MPH) from Boston University, as well as a PhD in Social Policy from Brandeis University. My career has focused on promoting community health (individuals and families) through treatment, trauma-informed crisis intervention, trainings, policy, and research.

My approach to therapy

I am warm, collaborative and practical. I specialize in brief, goal-oriented treatment designed to help you build sustainable coping skills through an integrative approach that combines trauma-informed evidence-based strategies (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, narrative therapy, and solution-focused therapy). You will learn tools to help you manage hard emotions and feel less overwhelmed.

What you can expect from me

Through a 15-minute phone consultation, we will discuss your goals for our work together. Our first session will focus on your current symptoms, stressors, and what brought you to therapy. We will work together to identify and learn practical, actionable coping strategies to help you manage your symptoms and stressors.
