Great to meet you!

I take a collaborative, active approach to individual therapy to help clients become unstuck from ruts, break old unhealthy patterns, communicate more effectively, resolve relationship crises, and learn more about themselves as partners and as people. Clients come to me for therapy in all states: fine-tuning an otherwise happy union, distraught after trust has been broken, considering a break-up, recovering from an affair, or just wanting to learn new relationship skills.

As a sex educator and sex writer, I also bring a unique comfort with issues of sex and sexuality issues to my sessions. I work with clients from all backgrounds and relationship styles, especially including LGBTQQ+ clients, kinky clients, and those in non-monogamous relationship structures.

My approach to therapy

I meet clients with kindness and curiosity in my sessions and provide a refreshingly open and non-judgmental space to talk about sex, sexuality, relationships, gender, and identity. I believe that clients are the experts of their own lives and have hired me as a knowledgable and confident consultant in navigating what's happened in their lives and what's next.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we'll simply get to know each other and concretize what your goals are for therapy. Think: "If you were done with therapy and felt like you had gotten what you came here for, what would you have figured out? What would you be doing differently in your life?". Together we'll chart a way forward and make a plan for energized and proactive therapeutic work.
