I believe that every person has a unique story, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. As a bilingual therapist (English and Spanish), I value cultural sensitivity and understand the importance of feeling understood within your own background and experiences. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual's needs. I enjoy helping clients identify their strengths, build resilience, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels comfortable for them.
My approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and the belief that healing happens through a strong therapeutic relationship. I primarily use a client-centered and trauma-informed framework while incorporating CBT, mindfulness, and creative interventions when appropriate. I help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences. My goal is to provide a supportive space where clients can process challenges, develop practical coping strategies, strengthen resilience, and reconnect with their values and personal strengths.
Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment during their first session. The initial session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy, and explore your goals, concerns, and expectations for treatment. I will ask questions about your personal history, current challenges, strengths, and support systems to better understand your unique experiences.
The first session is also a time to ask questions, share what matters to you, and determine whether our therapeutic relationship feels like a good fit. Together, we will begin identifying areas of focus and creating a plan that aligns with your needs and goals. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and supported as we begin the therapeutic process.
