Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Yanet Moreda, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

I provide compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, sleep disorders, and pre- and postpartum mood challenges. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered in your mental health journey.

I began my career in critical care nursing—working in intensive care units and emergency rooms—before pursuing advanced training in psychiatry at St. Thomas University, where I earned my Master of Science in Nursing with a psychiatric focus. That background gives me a unique perspective on the deep connection between physical and emotional health, which continues to guide my holistic, patient-centered approach.

I believe that mental health treatment should be personalized and collaborative. Together, we’ll explore your challenges, build on your strengths, and develop a treatment plan that supports both healing and growth. Whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis, coping with life changes, or looking for long-term support, I’m here with clinical expertise and genuine compassion.

Let’s work together to create a path toward balance, resilience, and well-being.

My approach to therapy

At the heart of my practice is the belief that every person deserves to feel seen, supported, and respected. I take a compassionate, individualized approach that honors your unique experiences, values, and goals. I believe in treating the whole person—not just the diagnosis—and I work collaboratively with you to create a treatment plan that feels aligned, empowering, and sustainable.

My care is rooted in empathy, evidence-based practice, and a deep respect for the healing process. Whether we’re exploring medication options, lifestyle supports, or simply holding space for your story, I strive to provide a safe environment where true growth and healing can take place.

What you can expect from me

Booking a session with me means more than just receiving a prescription—it’s the beginning of a thoughtful and supportive partnership. From the very first visit, my goal is for you to feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

You can expect a nonjudgmental, compassionate space where your voice matters in every step of care. Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you—whether it’s persistent anxiety, low mood, focus and attention challenges, trouble sleeping, or the emotional shifts of pregnancy and postpartum life.

I take a holistic and personalized approach, blending evidence-based medication management with lifestyle support, education, and encouragement. By the end of our first session, you’ll walk away with clarity, a tailored plan, and the reassurance that you’re not alone.

Mental health is not one-size-fits-all—and I’m here to help you find what truly works for you.
