Great to meet you!

You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone — I’m here to help you make sense of the chaos and find your way forward. I’m Yanique, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. I work with adults and young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, faith-related concerns, and big life transitions. My approach is real, collaborative, and personalized, drawing from CBT, mindfulness, and person-centered therapy. I also offer Christian counseling for clients who want to bring their faith into the healing process. If you’re ready to feel more grounded and empowered, I’d be honored to walk with you.

My approach to therapy

Yanique’s approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on what matters most to you. I believe you’re the expert on your life, and my role is to help you uncover insight, build tools, and move forward with confidence. I draw from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, strengths-based and person-centered techniques. Whether we’re processing past wounds, managing day-to-day stress, or setting goals for the future, I’ll meet you with empathy, curiosity, and zero judgment. I’m also intentional about creating space for faith and spirituality, if that’s important to you, and making sure you feel supported every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

When you come to our sessions, you can expect to leave feeling truly heard and supported with practical tools you can use in your daily life. You’ll gain clarity, learn how to set healthier boundaries, and develop new ways to manage your emotions so they don’t control you. Together, we’ll focus on real growth that goes beyond just talking by helping you build confidence and a deeper connection to your true self. My goal is for you to walk away empowered, grounded, and hopeful about the positive changes ahead.
