Great to meet you!

My name is YanLin Tso. I am an Asian-American and trans-masculine. I specialize in working with queer, neurodivergent and BIPOC people using Internal Family Systems and Somatic Experiencing training to help people learn to resolve trauma at the body level beyond verbal processing. I offer somatic coaching groups as well as individual therapy.

My approach to therapy

I offer a compassionate, flexible, insightful and intuitive approach to counseling that gives you personalized tools to empower you to live your best life.

In therapy you will: Learn to be kind to yourself when you struggle, you will learn to overcome internalized oppression, you will learn to regulate your emotions and manage triggers, learn to integrate conflicting needs and address trauma in the body that keeps you stuck. Learn to recognize the ways you have internalized white, cis or able-bodied supremacy.

What you can expect from me

Are you feeling stuck, unworthy, unmotivated or hopeless?

Are you feeling stuck, unworthy, unmotivated or exhausted? Things are changing fast and it can be really overwhelming. You have tried talk therapy, but you found it can only offer so much. You are looking for someone who understands neurodiversity and can help you understand yourself better and troubleshoot procrastination and burnout cycles beyond just another planner. And sometimes burnout is related to masking or people pleasing. You want to go deeper and get in touch with yourself in a way that heals old wounds so you can get past the things that keep you from moving forward.
