Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome. I’m Yara and I’m glad you are here! Asking for help is not easy and neither is finding the right therapist. You want to feel comfortable and understood, and clicking with the right person is important. You may have read a bunch of profiles, but the best way to decide if you’ve found a good fit is to reach out and chat. If it doesn't feel like the right fit, that's okay! Not everyone is compatible, but you want to feel comfortable and have confidence in who you choose.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered, solution focused, and strengths based, using a combination of therapeutic modalities to correspond with the needs of each individual person, and meeting you where you are at. I work with preteens/teens, college students, adults, and families. I also offer parent consultations and understand, this is by far, the hardest job ever!

What you can expect from our first session

One of my strengths is working with individuals who have a hard time trusting, connecting, and feeling safe. This allows me the opportunity to be impactful and help you achieve your goals. I hope that after our first session, you feel some relief in knowing that you are not alone and there are better days ahead.
