Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Sonny! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor who helps adults navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, stress, and struggles with self-confidence. I believe everyone deserves to feel comfortable with who they are, confident in their decisions, and supported as they work toward positive changes in their lives.

I especially enjoy working with people who are learning to prioritize themselves, establish healthier boundaries, and recognize their own worth. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling in your relationships, or finding it difficult to put your needs first, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and build the confidence to move forward in a way that feels right for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping you make meaningful progress. I believe lasting change begins with understanding yourself, recognizing patterns that may be holding you back, and taking practical steps toward the life you want.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and solution-focused techniques to help you challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping skills, and build confidence in your decisions. I'll offer encouragement, honest feedback, and practical guidance while keeping your individual needs, values, and goals at the center of our work.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, begin building trust, and talk about what brought you to therapy. We'll explore what you've been experiencing, what feels most important right now, and what you hope to gain from our time together.

You can expect a warm, honest, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. I'll listen thoughtfully, ask questions, and work alongside you to identify meaningful goals and practical next steps. My hope is that you leave our sessions feeling heard, encouraged, and more confident in your ability to navigate life's challenges.
