Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with a background that includes years of work with people navigating some of the hardest chapters of their lives — including incarcerated individuals, people struggling with addiction, and those carrying cultural weight that doesn't show up in a standard intake form. I'm South Asian, I grew up navigating two worlds, and that shapes how I show up for clients who've had to figure things out without a clear map. I don't do therapy with a clipboard. I'm direct, I'm real, and I'm genuinely interested in what's underneath the surface.

My approach to therapy

I pull from CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and depth-oriented approaches depending on what's actually useful for you — not what's trendy. I focus on patterns: why you keep ending up in the same place, why certain situations hit harder than they should, what's driving behavior that doesn't serve you. We'll build skills, but we'll also go deeper when that's what's needed. I work especially well with people who've been burned by generic advice and need something that actually engages with where they are.

What you can expect from me

No intake questionnaire monologue. We'll have a real conversation — I'll ask about what's going on, what you've tried, and what you're actually hoping to change. By the end, you'll know whether this feels like a fit and what working together might look like. I offer weekday evenings and weekend daytime slots, so scheduling around work or school is doable. If you're in Illinois and ready to start, I'm here.
