Great to meet you!

Yasi is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor (LCSW-S) and proud 2014 University of Houston alumna. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse settings from supporting individuals as an ex-offender counselor to providing care in medical social work and serving as a senior therapist. These experiences have deepened my passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges with compassion and resilience.

Sometimes, our personal experiences guide us toward our true purpose. For me, those experiences led to this meaningful and fulfilling path in mental health. Becoming a therapist has always been my calling. I believe that our mental health deserves the same care and attention as our physical health, and I honor that belief through an open-minded, compassionate, and holistic approach.

I love working with individuals managing ADHD, minoritized communities, depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, chronic illness, cancer, grief, self-harming behaviors, and bipolar disorder. My goal is to create a safe, understanding, and empowering space where you can feel supported as you move toward healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is both empathetic and direct, fostering genuine connection and growth. I draw upon a range of evidence based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Somatic and Mindfulness techniques, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of the individual. I am also in the process of completing my certification as an ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP) to further enhance my ability to support clients.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. The focus will be on creating a safe and comfortable space where you can share what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process.
