Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Yasmeen Elbanna (yes-meen el-ben-nah), and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. If you are struggling with compulsions, intrusive thoughts, obsessive fears, perfectionism, depression, or other issues impacting your daily functioning, you’re in the right place! As a first-generation Palestinian/Syrian-American therapist, I am dedicated to providing accessible mental health services and culturally competent care.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in treating OCD using ERP, the gold standard of treatment. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy based on your treatment needs. Together, we’ll learn self-compassion, overcome fears and compulsions, and manage cycles of intrusive thoughts, helping you regain control and improve your quality of life.

What you can expect from me

As a human and clinician, I would describe myself as humorous, compassionate, and authentic. I will collaborate with you to find the best treatment approach for your unique experiences and therapy goals. If you’re ready to take the next step toward overcoming OCD or other issues, reach out for a consultation, I’m here to help!
