Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming and emotionally exhausting at times. Maybe you've been running on empty for a while. Maybe you've been overthinking everything, your mood has been "off" or the things you used to handle with ease feel crushing now. Therapy can offer you a chance to slow down, gain insight and build skills to help you start to feel better.

I have over 15 years of experience in the mental health system in Sacramento. I've worked with teen and adult clients struggling with anxiety and depression, trauma, life transitions and school/career stress and burnout.

I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), an evidence-based modality used to improve sleep quality and reduce dependence on sleep medications.

I have a special focus working with individuals navigating pregnancy, postpartum experiences, fertility challenges, pregnancy loss and the transition into parenthood. I work to create a judgement-free space where new parents can be honest about struggles with mood issues, overwhelming fears, struggling managing life with a new baby and grief that comes with birth trauma, loss or fertility hardships. Growing your family can be a time of immense joy coupled with significant stress, you don't have to navigate it alone.

I'm a big believer that a bit of daily whimsy is a necessary to fill your cup and keep you going forward. When I'm not working with clients, you may find me paddleboarding with my dog, watching British crime shows or trying out the seasonal lattes at a local coffee shop.

My approach to therapy

I provide a warm and honest, trauma-informed space where clients can process challenges, strengthen coping skills and gain a better understanding of themselves.

My approach is collaborative, direct and compassionate with a focus on helping client build insight, develop healthier patterns, improve communication and create meaningful and sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you've been used to carrying the weight on your own. Our first session will focus on understanding your goals and building a road map towards health together. We will explore what has led you to this current moment and what you hope to gain from therapy. My goal is to create a space where you can show up honestly, feel genuinely understood so you can find and use the tools that will help you achieve your goals. If you're ready to feel more like yourself again, I'd be honored to support you in that process.
