Great to meet you!

I am Yasmin Panjwani, is dual board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), with a Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice (DNP. I work with adolescents, adults and families facing anxiety mood concerns, ADHD, PTSD, sleep issued, psychotic and co-occurring medical and mental health challenges. My background in primary care shaped my passion for psychiatry where I saw how close physical and emotional health connect. My desire to help people with mental illnesses, motivated me to become a mental health provider. I offer holistic, compassionate care focused on listening, educating and making my clients feel empowered. I strive to create a warm environment for my clients where questions are welcome and addressed appropriately. Caring and compassion guide my work, I focus on providing holistic care considering each individual's physical, emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual needs to support overall wellbeing. I takes time to listen to my clients, educate them about their illness, and offer treatment options incorporating disease prevention and health promotion strategies. I use evidence-based clinical guidelines while tailoring care to each person’s concerns. My aim is to improve daily functioning and overall quality of life. I enjoy helping people feel better and I find my work deeply rewarding and I look forward to partnering with my clients in a supportive and therapeutic experience.

My approach to therapy

“I provide care through a patient‐centered, collaborative approach. I listen closely to each patient’s concerns and their functional challenges, explore the context behind their symptoms, and tailor treatment plans based on their clinical needs.”
