Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychotherapist in New York and Maryland, with 25 years of experience. I believe that creativity can aid in self-expression, understanding ourselves and others, particularly when words have not. I am a board-certified, art therapist (ATR-BC) as credentialed by the Art Therapy Credentials Board. I have additional clinical training in time-limited dynamic psychotherapy.

My approach to therapy

My caring and straightforward approach is well-suited for those who are ready to work with a therapist who sees you as the expert of your own experiences and would benefit from a therapist who acts as a collaborator. I look forward to working with adults and young people who are seeking therapy for the first time or those who are returning to therapy.

What you can expect from me

I would like to know what brings you to therapy - what has worked in the past, what hasn't been so successful, and what you hope in our work together. We will determine goals during the first few sessions. Artmaking, mindfulness, and breathing techniques may be offered in addition to verbal psychotherapy.
