Yazmin Bonet

Hi, I'm Yazmin! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering in-person therapy in Wellington and virtual sessions throughout Florida. I earned my Master of Social Work from Florida Gulf Coast University, and my background includes working with diverse populations within the criminal justice system. I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, self-esteem, and life transitions. I'm down-to-earth, easy to talk to, and believe there's room for both meaningful conversations and a little humor along the way.

My approach is laid-back but intentional. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation where you can be yourself, laugh when it feels right, and work through the tough stuff without judgment. I'm not someone who will just sit back and nod. I'll offer honest feedback, ask thoughtful questions, and gently challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I blend evidence-based techniques, practical strategies, and a little humor to help you make changes that carry into everyday life.

Our first session is all about getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We'll talk about what's been going on, what you'd like to work on, and what you're hoping to get out of our time together. There's no pressure to share everything at once or have all the answers. We'll keep things conversational, move at a pace that feels comfortable, and maybe even share a laugh along the way. Together, we'll figure out where to start.
