Yehoshua Othniel

I earned my MSW from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS. My PhD. is in Spiritual Counseling. I view myself as a Faith-based therapist in that I combine the early roots of Social Work with up to date, evidence based Psychotherapy techniques and theories to give my patients a well rounded perspective that utilizes spirituality as a vital resource regardless of religion.

Typically I rely on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Analytical Therapy as my mainstays but If I am to be accurate I claim to be an Eclectic practitioner in that I use whatever works best for my patients.

My goal is to provide hope to any patient I work with. If a patient takes hope with them at the end of a session with me then they are more likely to come back again and again.
