Great to meet you!

I work with adults who feel stuck in painful emotional and relationship patterns—people who may understand intellectually what is happening but still struggle to change how they feel, let go of relationships that are hurting them, or stop repeating patterns they promised themselves they would never repeat again. Navigating our own emotions, histories, needs, and fears can be difficult enough; trying to remain connected to ourselves while loving and relating to others can be even more challenging. I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, low self-worth, attachment wounds, fear of abandonment, relationship dependency, and patterns of losing oneself in relationships. I also support individuals recovering from emotionally manipulative, controlling, invalidating, or highly intense relationships that have left them questioning themselves or struggling to trust their own perceptions. My style is warm, direct, curious, and engaged. I offer a nonjudgmental space for honest exploration while helping clients recognize patterns, face difficult truths, and develop healthier relationships with themselves and others.

I am currently completing advanced certification training in sex therapy and kink-aware clinical practice, with a developing specialization in sexuality, intimacy, attachment, sexual shame, relationship patterns, and affirming care for sexually diverse populations. Outside the therapy room, I enjoy traveling, photography, yoga, philosophy, and exploring questions about consciousness, sexuality, relationships, and human behavior. I value authenticity, curiosity, humor, personal responsibility, and honest conversation. I believe meaningful change begins when we become willing to see ourselves clearly, accept ourselves more fully, and integrate the parts of ourselves we have rejected, hidden, or abandoned so that we can live, love, and relate with greater freedom, presence, and intention.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative and draws from attachment-based therapy, ACT, CBT, relational and narrative approaches, trauma-informed care, inner child work, and body-based awareness. At the center of my work is the belief that self-awareness can lead to greater consciousness, presence, and choice. Therapy can help us understand the parts of ourselves shaped by early experiences, unmet needs, shame, fear, and the ways we learned to survive. Rather than rejecting or trying to eliminate these parts of ourselves, I believe healing involves developing compassion for them, understanding the roles they have played, and integrating them into a more whole and authentic sense of self. Self-acceptance is fundamental to developing genuine self-worth. My goal is to help clients become less fragmented by their past and more able to live from an integrated place where thoughts, emotions, bodies, values, sexuality, and relationships can be understood as parts of the whole person. Therapy is not about becoming someone else; it is about becoming more fully yourself.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask about what you’re experiencing now, important parts of your history, your relationships, and what you hope will change, but you will never be expected to share more than you feel ready to discuss.

My style is warm, curious, and engaged, so you can expect a real conversation rather than simply answering a list of questions. Together, we’ll begin identifying the patterns, experiences, and concerns that may be affecting your life and relationships. We’ll also talk about what you want from therapy and begin developing a direction for our work together. You do not need to arrive with everything figured out—part of our work is learning to understand where you are, what you need, and where you want to go.
