Great to meet you!

With over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families through their mental health journeys, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care. I believe every person is unique, and so is their path to healing. That’s why I tailor each treatment plan to meet the individual needs, identities, and life stories of my clients.

Currently serving as a Mental Health Specialist and District Lead for Tustin Unified School District, I oversee clinical programming, supervise trainees, and lead critical incident response efforts. I also provide direct therapy services to students K-12th.

My specialties include treating anxiety, processing trauma, and working with historically marginalized populations.

I hold a B.A. in Communication, a Master’s in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy, and I’m currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology.

As a lifelong learner and advocate, I bring both clinical expertise and a deep respect for every person’s lived experience to the work I do.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I’m passionate about holding space for healing, especially for those whose voices have too often gone unheard.

What you can expect from our first session

My approach to therapy is deeply client-centered, grounded in the belief that each person’s journey is unique and deserves individualized care. Clients can expect a safe, supportive space where their current needs take priority in each session. While we remain attuned to the issues they are facing in the present, we also work collaboratively toward meaningful therapeutic goals. Sessions may include opportunities to practice new strategies or skills, but equally important is creating space to reflect, process, and honor each client’s personal story and lived experience. This balance allows for both immediate relief and deeper, long-term healing, tailored to who the client is, not just what they’re struggling with.
