Great to meet you!

I bring empathy, compassion, and evidence-based techniques to my practice. I create a safe space for individuals, couples, and families to share their struggles and work toward personal growth and healing. I work with clients struggling with anxiety and depression, often including suicidal ideation. This may manifest as feeling down most of the time, having trouble with daily motivation, or struggling at work, school, and in social interactions. Clients may also struggle maintaining healthy relationships and feel anxious in specific situations. I strive to create a safe and calming environment by checking in at the end of each session and taking feedback to ensure sessions are going well. The safety and comfort of my clients are of utmost importance to me. I believe the therapist-client relationship is a crucial element of the healing process. My passion for working with diverse communities began with the understanding that culture and background shape one's worldview. I strive to establish a warm and nonjudgmental demeanor to support those seeking a safe, inclusive, and collaborative therapeutic space.

My approach to therapy

I mainly use Psychodynamic therapy with a heavy attachment lens, as well as Internal Family Systems. I help clients explore the origin of their thoughts and feelings, working from the inside out to find the core of issues and create lasting change.

What you can expect from me

The first session with me is not a typical therapy session. I take my time and ask questions about you and your goals, including family history, medical history, and your support network. We'll discuss your goals and time range, and I'll allow you to process what that was like and if you feel comfortable moving forward with me.
