Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I bring over eight years of clinical experience and more than four years of supervisory experience to my work with individuals across the lifespan. I provide psychotherapy in both English and Spanish, and I am committed to creating a therapeutic environment that is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in respect for each client's unique lived experience.

Throughout my career, I have worked with adolescents, adults, and older adults in a variety of clinical settings, supporting individuals navigating trauma, identity development, relationship concerns, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and other emotional and psychological challenges. My advanced training includes trauma-informed treatment, LGBTQ+ affirming care, and sex therapy, allowing me to provide specialized, evidence-informed support while honoring the complexity of each person's experiences.

My approach to therapy

My clinical approach is integrative and individualized, drawing from evidence-based practices while recognizing that meaningful therapy is built upon a strong therapeutic relationship. I believe healing is fostered through curiosity, authenticity, and compassionate exploration, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe to examine longstanding patterns, develop greater self-understanding, and cultivate lasting change. My goal is to partner with clients in a way that empowers them to move toward greater emotional well-being, resilience, and a life that feels more aligned with their values.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for introductions and to begin building a foundation for our work together.

We'll spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant personal and mental health history, and what you hope to gain from treatment. I'll also ask questions to better understand your strengths, relationships, and the factors that have shaped your experiences. This conversation helps me develop a comprehensive understanding of your needs while giving you the opportunity to determine whether I feel like the right fit for you.

There is no expectation that you share everything during our first meeting. Therapy is a collaborative process that unfolds at a pace that feels comfortable and appropriate. My role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, ask questions, and begin exploring your goals with confidence.
