Great to meet you!

I hold a Master of Social Work from Walden University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Criminal Justice from Ashford University. I have over seven years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in clinical and community-based settings, providing individual therapy, case management, crisis intervention, and treatment coordination. I support clients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, bipolar disorder, emotional difficulties, life transitions, and challenges related to stress and relationships. My approach incorporates CBT, DBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing, while focusing on each client's individual needs, strengths, and goals. I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves as they work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a resource that provides clients with a supportive space to better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and develop tools for meaningful change. My approach is client-centered and collaborative, recognizing that each person brings unique experiences, strengths, and goals to therapy. I work alongside clients rather than telling them what to do, using evidence-based approaches to help them build coping skills, gain insight, and feel more confident in managing life's challenges.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where we take time to get to know you, understand what brought you to therapy, and discuss what you hope to accomplish. We will talk about your current concerns, strengths, goals, and what you would like support with while working together to identify an approach that feels comfortable and appropriate for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and confident that therapy can be a resource to support you through your journey.
