Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an MSW from New York University. I have over eight years of clinical experience and more than 5,000 clinical hours supporting adults. I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, relationship concerns, family conflict, life transitions, and the impact of trauma. I provide therapy in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and client-centered. Rather than treating anxiety, low mood, or stress in isolation, I am interested in what these experiences may be expressing within your emotional life and relationships. We make room for feelings that may be difficult to name, and pay attention to patterns as they unfold, sometimes in the relationship between us. I also integrate CBT, DBT, and solution-focused tools when they are useful for day-to-day concerns.

What you can expect from me

The initial assessment (the first 2-4 sessions) is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin to understand what brought you here. We will talk about what feels most important right now, along with any history or context you would like to share. You do not need to arrive with the right words or a complete story. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard and with a clearer sense of whether we may be a good fit.
