Great to meet you!

Hi there, I'm Ying! As a bilingual (English/Mandarin) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, my passion lies in helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges. With a decade of experience in diverse settings—high schools, cross-cultural community centers, hospitals, and churches—I have had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life.

Specializing in depression, anxiety, marital and premarital concerns, women’s issues, acculturation difficulties, and life transitions, my goal is to provide a supportive space where healing and growth can take place. Therapy is a journey of self-discovery, and it would be an honor to walk alongside you as you work toward lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy using a Christian perspective and values for those who wish to integrate their faith into the counseling process. Additionally, I incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, client-centered therapy, and psychodynamic approaches to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will focus on building rapport and understanding your unique background, experiences, and concerns. I will take a brief history, including demographic information, and invite you to share what has brought you to therapy. We will discuss your goals, expectations, and the potential duration of therapy.

My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you feel heard and supported. I encourage an open-minded approach, and I am patient in walking with you step by step as we work together toward meaningful transformation.
